OVERVIEW

Every April, Luna Park in Coney Island celebrates the official opening of the Coney Island Amusement District. To commemorate the new season, Luna Park hosted a press conference with its owner Alessandro Zamperla, alongside New York elected officials Senator Chuck Schumer and Senator Diane Savino, District Leaders, Assemblymembers and the local Brooklyn community stakeholders. Following the ceremony, Luna Park hosted its annual egg-cream christening of the historic Coney Island Cyclone Roller Coaster, marking the official opening of a new season.
